We are taking nominations for the best Architecture Movies of all time. These are to be movies that either feature really cool buildings or architects (cool or otherwise). Please give us your input. So far the nominees are:
Gattaca- Many of the futuristic buildings represent a post modern architecture called “Brutalism”, the two massive Arches are the spillway to the Spulveda Dam in LA,S ome interiors and exteriors of the Gattaca building belong to the Marin County Civic Center in San Rafael, CA. It was designed by architect Frank Lloyd Wright in 1957 and was largest Wright design ever constructed.
Sleeper – Woody Allen’s classic – Got to be number one – the house is visible from I-70, and it had the Orgasmatron.
