We approach designing innovation and incubation spaces by creatively addressing the evolving learning standards related to new idea and product development, while seamlessly integrating new materials and innovative technology into our designs. This community college innovation center was strategically designed to provide essential resources and program spaces that meet new modes of idea and product development, incorporate learning spaces that provide interactive collaboration zones, critical thinking, and technology, integrated from the beginning of the design process.

Through the innovation educational space design process, we are rethinking the traditional model of learning and new product advancement spaces that provide incubation zones for free and forward thinking. We are exploring ways to make our spaces ever more flexible, open, connected, and diverse. We understand that connection, collaboration, and diversity is critical to the advancement of ideas and learning. We designed this innovation/incubation center to move, shift, flow, and change according to the needs of the stakeholders and community. The space is as flexible as the ideas and connections being created by it.

The building provides the catalyst for the advancement of local and regional businesses along with the select inputs of education to provide a program space allowing for thought knowledge advancements to occur in a highly flexible vessel.
