Cheyenne Frontier Days

CFD Headquarters is a 34,000 square foot project, created to reflect the well-established and vibrant history of the 120-year-old Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo and Concert Venue. One of the goals for this project was to pay homage to the deep culture that has connected the community for so long by hiring local Architects, Interior designers, Contractors and Sub-Contractors. The client also wanted to make sure the design created an experience like any other therefore, the building is perfectly situated on the track for super viewing of events on both the first level deck and the third level rooftop deck. The rooftop deck features sunshades to provide optimal viewing conditions.

Both the interior and exterior of the building were designed to reflect a vintage community and carry it through to the future of Cheyenne. Modern materials were used along with traditional barn gooseneck features, and reclaimed Wyoming snow fence, that reach through the past to bring back that homespun experience. A prairie style design with flat roofs and brick, seen in other local historic buildings, grounds visitors with a feeling of long-standing presence and flexibility to welcome growth and change.
