Loveland Hangar

Inspired by travel and aviation, the design of this corporate hangar creates a visual journey of its own.

This hangar is truly a ‘one of a kind’. We visited and researched many other company hangars- none were quite what the client wanted… so the fun and unique is we got to design and provide the needs as our ‘forward’ thinking clients– who think outside of the box…

This private corporate hangar is the first experience many existing clients will experience before visiting the many other branch offices for this company- First impressions are very important to communicate to their clients their culture and story…
Therefore, guests are greeted with thoughtful design elements from every angle viewed from interior and exterior. This air hanger features three unique levels of training, entertaining and conference areas. The two-story lobby welcomes guests with thematic model planes suspended from the ceiling, and pops of color throughout the space. A large coffee bar complete with a communal table in the shape of airplane propellers is a welcome area to relax and ‘unwind’. The ceilings playfully respond to the movements and activities below them with differing heights of acoustic and gypsum ceilings add a weightless and airy feel thoughtfully placed within exposed building structure. Stone fireplaces on main and top floor provide respite and or small conversation areas.

An open design concept with massive glass walls create a visual relationship between the hangar and the breathtaking mountain views just outside – and of course of the jets arriving and leaving on the runway!
