VFLA provided interior design services for the 3,700 square foot expansion of RE/MAX Capitol Properties in Cheyenne, Wyoming. The goal for the project was to add more private offices and a large social area where the company can hold presentations, informal meetings, and events. VFLA accomplished RE/MAX’s goals by relocating their existing entry and reception desk and placing the social space on the east side of the building where there was existing storefront along the entire length of the wall.
Warm walnut woods, navy blues, Carrera marble inspired solid surfaces, and spider lights made the space feel modern and current while still being comfortable and approachable. The new finishes were chosen carefully to tie into their existing office space. The social space has a fully functioning residential grade kitchen with wood-like vinyl planks running throughout.
VFLA worked with RE/MAX in selecting furniture for all the offices and the social space. The furniture goal for the social space was to have 50 seats and to create areas where everyone can see the presentation board. This was accomplished by utilizing dining height, counter height, and bar height tables.
Another area that was added to the expansions is the video production room. RE/MAX often creates their own commercials and video snapshots to post on their social media outlets so having a video room was a top priority. VFLA detailed a curved green screen wall to create the illusion of a seamless backdrop while being positioned in a smaller room.
Overall, the expansion feels warm and welcoming while functioning to its full capacity.
